Max and Callum Celebrate their 1-year anniversary at Xpertise!
Max Muirhead and Callum Cleaver, Recruitment Consultants at Xpertise Recruitment celebrated their one-year work anniversary this week! We wanted to talk to them about what they enjoy about their roles, and what their highlights have been since joining Xpertise Recruitment.
Let’s hear from Max…
Would you be able to tell us a little bit about your role and what you do?
I focus on the Project Delivery market for Xpertise in London and am the founder of the Delivery Xperts meetup group. The roles I work on range from mid-weight Project Manager up to Head of Delivery.
Why do you like working at Xpertise?
The autonomy provided to their staff is unparalleled in the recruitment industry. They encourage you to build your own personal brand within your respective market which Xpertise is able to facilitate for us.
What has been your highlight since joining Xpertise?
Being able to work with some of the biggest global companies in their respective industries has been and will be a continuous great experience.
Would you recommend a job in recruitment to others?
I would 100% recommend getting into recruitment if you’re willing to put in the work!
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Right now I would want to go to Australia so I could have as many meals and drinks out without Boris telling me off.

Would you be able to tell us a little bit about your role and what you do?
I recruit in the data space for Xpertise. Focusing on mainly Data engineering.
Why do you like working at Xpertise?
I think the point of difference between Xpertise and other recruitment firms, is that Xpertise focuses on being experts in our specialty. In my first year in recruitment, I have learnt as much about data engineering, as I have about recruitment.
What has been your highlight since joining Xpertise?
I think my highlight was probably helping a candidate get his dream role. He had recently moved away from London and I managed to find him a remote role that allowed him to avoid a commute and spend more time with his family.
Would you recommend a job in recruitment to others?
I would recommend a career in recruitment at Xpertise definitely!
What would be your last meal, starter, main and desert?
My last meal would be prawn crackers for a starter, Lasagna for main and Tiramisu for desert.
