Meet Emily…

Name and background

I’m Emily, I’m from Chester and I’ve joined the Manchester perm team as a Software Engineering Recruitment Consultant. In my spare time I enjoy finding new places to walk my gorgeous dog and going out with my friends, finding new restaurants and bars.

Why did you choose Xpertise and why recruitment?

I’ve chosen to get into recruitment because I wanted a role where I was being challenged every day and not every day was the same. I also love working with people so wanted a role where I get to speak to both clients and candidates from so many different backgrounds.

And I chose Xpertise because I liked Hannah, Fran, and Andy when I interviewed with them and felt that I would get on really well with them. It also seemed like there was great company culture, and there is lots of room for growth and progression.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, money being no object, where would you go and why?

Probably New York, it’s always been a place I want to go, especially at Christmas. Because my parents always talk about when they went there the year before I was born and had the most amazing time, so I’ve grown up wanting to go.
