National Apprenticeship Week 2018
This week ( 5th – 9th March) marks the 11th National Apprenticeship Week in the UK. This week celebrates apprenticeships and how they can benefit both individuals and companies. To mark this exciting week, we thought we would take this opportunity to share with you our apprentice’s story – Phoebe Kent.
Question time with Phoebe…
1. When did you start working at Xpertise Recruitment?
I started as an apprentice on 23rd October 2017
2. What do you like most about your job?
I like that I am working as well as learning on the job, I’m taking on more responsibilities and being respected as part of the team.
3. What do you think you’ve learnt so far?
I’ve learnt that I can do any task if I put my mind to it and believe in myself. I’ve learnt a lot from everyone in the team and that any question I ask won’t be a stupid question because we’ve all got to start somewhere!
4. What do you want to do in the future?
In the future I’d like to have a fulltime job at Xpertise as I already feel part of the team. I want to prove myself to everyone that I am a part of the Back-Office team
5. Would you recommend doing an apprenticeship?
I would 100% recommend an apprenticeship to anyone
6. What do you like doing in your spare time?
I like to look after my horse and play rugby, I go out and socialise with friends
7. What’s one fact about you that people might not know?
I was on BBC’s The One Show’s Rickshaw Challenge 2016 along with 5 young adults. We raised over £4 million for charities across the UK.
