QA Analyst – Manual Testing | Fintech Scale-Up Remote-first | Monthly London meet-ups Up to £50,000 + Bonus + Share Scheme + 30 Days Holiday + Health Cash Plan

A fast-growing, tech-enabled brand in the mortgage and lending space is expanding its QA function and looking for a Manual QA Analyst to join their collaborative, mission-driven team.

This role focuses on validating financial calculations and mortgage logic across sprint deliverables, helping to remove testing bottlenecks and accelerate high-quality releases. While manual testing is the core focus, familiarity with automation tools like Cypress is a welcome bonus.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform manual testing of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes

• Create and execute test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria

• Collaborate with developers and analysts to ensure clarity of requirements

• Log and track defects using JIRA, ensuring clear documentation

• Conduct regression testing and contribute to process improvements

• Identify repeatable manual tests that could benefit from future automation

• Explore opportunities to enhance the mortgage application process using AI

✅ What They’re Looking For:

• Strong understanding of software testing principles and defect lifecycle

• Experience testing web-based applications and financial calculations

• Familiarity with Cypress, Postman, Git/GitHub, and CI/CD environments

• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

• Experience testing financial documents (e.g., ESIS, mortgage offers, statements)

• Background in fintech or mortgage is a plus

• Interest in AI and emerging technologies is desirable
