PERM | APPLICATIONS MANAGER | PERMANENT | UP TO £75K | LONDON (HYBRID - 3 DAYS ONSITE)

I'm working with a leading specialty insurance organisation undergoing a major IT transformation into a product-led model.

They're looking for an Applications Manager to take ownership of a suite of critical enterprise systems, working closely with senior stakeholders and managing vendors to drive service quality and performance.

Role Details:

¬ Service management across business-critical applications (policy admin, content & document management)

¬ Managing offshore vendors / partners and holding them accountable to SLAs

¬ Acting as a key bridge between engineering leads, business units & IT

¬ Leading on P1/P2 incident resolution, driving stability and continuous improvement

What they're looking for:

¬ Strong Application / Service Management experience (3-5 years+)

¬ Proven vendor & offshore management experience

¬ Solid background in specialty / London Market insurance

¬ Experience with ServiceNow & Azure DevOps & Verisk

¬ Ability to operate in high-pressure environments with senior stakeholders (Head / Director level)

¬ Prior line management / leadership of hybrid teams

Nice to have:

¬ Exposure to Guidewire, Newgen, ImageRight or similar platforms

¬ Understanding of Agile / product-led environments

¬ Awareness of AWS and modern delivery practices
