Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer - App Modernization

£650/day | Inside IR35 | London | Hybrid | Immediate Start

We're seeking an experienced Cloud/DevOps Engineer to lead application modernization projects, including migrating legacy systems from C to Node.js and deploying cloud-native solutions across AWS and Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Modernize applications and enable cloud-native deployments on AWS and Azure.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform (custom modules), AWS CloudFormation/CDK, and Azure Bicep/ARM templates.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines with AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
• Build serverless and event-driven architectures leveraging AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Azure Functions, and Service Bus.
• Implement monitoring and observability with CloudWatch, X-Ray, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights.
• Manage identity governance (AWS IAM Identity Center, Azure Entra ID) and enforce security best practices.
• Optimize networking, traffic management, and load balancing across AWS and Azure.
• Drive cost optimization and ensure compliance with security standards.
