Test Analyst - DV Cleared | Corsham | Competitive day rates| 3+ Month Contract

We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of an enterprise IT platform for a high-profile government project. This role is critical to validating business requirements, identifying defects early, and supporting Agile delivery teams.

Key Details:

• Location: Corsham (Full-time, on-site)
• Duration: 3+ months (ASAP start, subject to BPSS checks)
• Rate: £400-500 per day (Inside IR35)
• Clearance: Active and transferable DV clearance required
• Nationality: Sole British national only (no dual nationality)

Role Overview: You will design, execute, and document test cases across multiple test phases, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met. The role also involves contributing to test strategy and supporting continuous improvement.

Technical Scope:

• Testing Types: Functional, regression, system, integration, and UAT
• Test Design: Create structured test cases, scenarios, and scripts
• Defect Management: Log, track, and retest defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
• Validation: Confirm fixes and ensure resolution prior to release
• Documentation: Maintain accurate test evidence for audit and compliance
• Collaboration: Work within Agile teams and contribute to test planning and strategy

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience as a Manual Tester or QA Analyst on enterprise IT platforms
• Ability to write clear, structured test cases and defect reports
• Familiarity with defect and test management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps)
• Knowledge of ITIL 4 concepts and service management environments
• Experience using documentation tools (Confluence, SharePoint)

Desirable:

• Exposure to automation concepts or tools
• Experience in government or regulated environments
