Integration Developer – Azure PaaS | Higher Education | Outside IR35 London (Hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 days remote) 12-Month Contract | Outside IR35 | Start ASAP Day Rate: Competitive

A leading higher education institution is seeking an experienced Integration Developer to support a major digital transformation programme. This is a hands-on role focused on cloud-based integration across student systems, SaaS platforms, and enterprise services.

Previous experience working in higher education and on complex integration projects is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure PaaS integrations using Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, and Event Grid

• Build and manage RESTful APIs with an API-first approach

• Integrate cloud platforms such as Salesforce, Canvas LMS, and other SaaS systems

• Work with legacy student systems (e.g., SITS) to support data synchronisation and transformation

• Collaborate with Agile delivery teams to deliver incremental, story-based solutions

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform

• Maintain secure coding practices and support production-grade deployments

✅ Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure PaaS integration tools

• Proven track record of RESTful API development and cloud system integration

• Experience with SITS or similar student information systems

• Proficiency in C#, PowerShell, JavaScript, or equivalent Azure development languages

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Agile methodologies

• Solid understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure automation

Working Pattern

• Hybrid: 2 days onsite in London, 3 days remote

• Immediate start preferred
