Technical Architect - DV Cleared | Corsham | £650- 750 per day | 3+ Month Contract

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure solutions for a high-profile government project.

Key Details:

• Location: Corsham (Full-time, on-site)
• Duration: 3+ months (ASAP start, subject to BPSS checks)
• Rate: £650 - 750 per day (Inside IR35) 
• Clearance: Active and transferable DV clearance required
• Nationality: Sole British national only (no dual nationality)

Role Overview: You will provide technical leadership across virtualisation, networking, security, and identity platforms, ensuring solutions meet business and architectural standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end technical design from high-level architecture to low-level implementation.
• Define and maintain architecture standards and best practices.
• Design solutions based on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and NSX-T.
• Architect secure network infrastructures and enterprise identity solutions.
• Produce high-quality HLDs, LLDs, and technical documentation.
• Act as technical authority during delivery and resolve complex issues.

Essential Skills:

• VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), NSX-T Data Centre
• Network security, firewall technologies, routing & switching
• Identity & access management (Active Directory, ADFS)
• Windows Server & Linux OS
• Strong experience producing HLDs and LLDs

Desirable:

• Hybrid/multi-cloud architectures
• Automation & Infrastructure as Code
• Security architecture & zero trust principles
