Head of Delivery - Technical Platforms

Our FTSE100 client, who are going through a 5+ billion group wide Technology Transformation are looking for a Head of Delivery (Technical Platforms) 

Overview : The role is focused on platform-led, tech delivery leadership, so we're looking for someone with a strong technical understanding, alongside proven delivery experience and strong people leadership capability. Preference is for those from a technical background and able to work in transformation environments (ambiguity, proactive, make things happen, comfortable with change etc)

Salary: £130k - £147k basic

Benefits : Bonus (circa 30%) + strong benefits (pension contribution), Car Allowance, Healthcare & very good Travel discounts. Total package up to circa £200k

Location: West London (2-3 days a week)

Experience required:

• Ability to define/execute a technology strategy and roadmap aligned with and delivery to business expectations
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale technology teams
• Budgeting, cost optimisation and ROI Analysis for tech investments
• Strategic problem solving and deep understanding of the broader business strategy and context and identifying platform solutions for them
• Expertise in platform engineering (Cloud / DevOps / DevSecOps) / Architecture (Data / Cyber)
• Proven ability to implement engineering best practices and drive continuous improvement
• Worked at enterprise scale
• Experience of delivering and scaling complex technology ecosystems across multi team, global, operationally and business critical systems
• Experience in leading large teams (in house and multi vendors)
