Senior Programme Lead — Platform & Delivery Enablement 12-month contract | £800-900/day | London, 3 days/week on-site (non-negotiable)

A product-led technology organisation with a strong commercial track record is scaling, and needs a senior leader to head up a new central function that underpins how its product teams work.

The role

You'll build and lead a team of around ten with one mandate: raise the delivery performance of every product team across the business. That means putting in place the shared foundations - common tooling, reusable patterns, security and compliance built in from the start - so teams stop solving the same problems in isolation.

This is direction and orchestration, not hands-on engineering. You'll decide where the team invests, sequence the work, and manage the relationships across the wider organisation that turn plans into outcomes. Technical execution sits with experienced leads in your team.

The balance is the hard part. Push too far one way and product teams lose their speed; push too far the other and you get inconsistency, duplication, and risk. We want someone who's walked that line before.

You'll likely have

• 6+ years across consulting, tech operations, or programme leadership inside a technology business, with 3+ at senior operating level
• A track record of turning ambiguous, multi-party problems into prioritised delivery
• Experience making enterprise IT, security, and risk functions work with you rather than against you
• A history of hiring and developing senior technology talent
• Enough technical depth to earn credibility with engineers without needing to do the engineering yourself
