IMMEDIATE CONTRACT | Business Analyst - Finance | 2 Months (+ 6 Month extension to follow) | £525 per day (Inside IR35) | City of London - 4 days on-site per week

A leading financial services organisation is seeking a hands-on Business Analyst to support a major Finance & Audit IT transformation programme focused on finance sub-ledger capabilities.

This role will play a key part in requirements definition, solution alignment, testing support, and stakeholder engagement across finance and technology teams. A successful candidate must be hands on.

Key Requirements:

¬ Proven experience delivering Business Analysis on at least two finance sub-ledger programmes within banking or insurance environments

 ¬ Strong understanding of financial services products, accounting rules, finance data, and regulatory reporting requirements

 ¬ Experience leading requirements workshops, producing delivery-ready requirements, and coordinating across multiple technology teams

 ¬ Deep knowledge of finance daily, monthly, and year-end processes, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior finance stakeholders

Nice to Have:

¬ Strong SQL or similar data analysis experience, including working with large datasets

 ¬ Experience supporting end-to-end testing of finance sub-ledger platforms

 ¬ Ability to trace requirements through to solution design and ensure full coverage of business needs
