Enterprise Architect - Engineering / Maintenance & Repair Programme
UK (Hybrid) | 6-Month Contract | £Competitive day rate (Inside IR35) | Major enterprise transformation programme
- Opportunity to influence architecture strategy at enterprise scale
- Work on a business-critical transformation programme with executive visibility
- Shape the future-state engineering technology landscape
- Long-term engagement with significant extension potential beyond the initial contract term
- Review and assess the current engineering technology landscape
- Define and govern the future-state architecture across engineering systems
- Develop technology roadmaps aligned to strategic business objectives
- Identify risks, gaps, duplication and opportunities for optimisation
- Establish and enforce architectural governance standards
- Provide architectural leadership across multiple programmes and initiatives
- Challenge and influence senior stakeholders where necessary
- Ensure technology investment decisions support long-term business outcomes
- Strong balance of business acumen and technical architecture expertise
- Experience defining enterprise-wide architecture strategies and roadmaps
- Demonstrable governance and architecture assurance experience
- Ability to bridge business requirements and technology solutions
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge constructively
- Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments
- Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) domain knowledge
- Airline engineering systems experience
- Previous involvement in large-scale technology transformation programme
