Our client, a 50-person scale-up with $4bn ambitions, is seeking a hands-on Decision Scientist to make an immediate impact. Role

As a Decision Scientist, you’ll dive into CRM targeting and pricing strategies to boost revenue, optimise campaigns, and strengthen customer and broker relationships. You’ll own data-driven initiatives, starting with HubSpot-powered CRM campaigns, while seizing opportunities to solve broader business challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute CRM campaigns to drive sales and engagement.
• Build targeting and segmentation models using structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate on pricing models and A/B tests to maximise profitability.
• Optimise HubSpot usage and explore automation tools.
• Track campaign performance to enhance ROI and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

Your first days

They want someone to hit the ground running, building solutions around the targeting engine, showcasing its commercial potential to senior. This role is for a proactive doer, not a manager waiting for a team.

About you

You’re a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, thriving in a flat structure and reporting to an ExCo member. You excel at turning data into actionable insights and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves.

Essential skills & experience

• 5+ years in targeting and segmentation modelling, ideally with pricing experience.
• Proven success in CRM campaigns (B2C/B2B, e.g., FinTech, retail, or travel).
• Proficient in Python, R, or similar for data science tasks.
• Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and cloud tools (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Skilled in A/B testing and predictive modelling.
• Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Maths, Stats, Computer Science).
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-paced settings.

Desirable

• Familiarity with Jupyter, LLMs, or advanced analytics.
• Pricing analytics experience in FinTech.
