We’re looking for a Salesforce Development Manager for our client based in the East Midlands that will lead their tech team in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level Salesforce solutions. This hands-on leadership role will set technical strategy, manage the full development lifecycle, and ensure high-quality delivery across projects.

What you’ll do:

• Lead successful delivery across the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Drive high coding standards, minimise technical debt, and ensure security.
• Conduct code reviews and act as an escalation point.
• Manage deployments and releases following DevOps best practices.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and support smooth team operations.
• Collaborate on planning and analysis of system changes with PMO and IT teams.
• Stay current with Salesforce technologies and best practices.

Experience and Qualifications: 

Essential:

• Strong Salesforce development experience (Apex, Visualforce, APIs, integrations).
• Proven leadership skills with team management and coaching experience.
• Ability to translate business strategy into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Salesforce certifications (Admin, Advanced Admin, Platform Developer I).
• Agile/Scrum and DevOps experience.

Desirable:

• Familiarity with tools like Jitterbit, Certinia, Pardot, Conga Composer, OwnBackup.
• Experience with UAT, deployments, and bulk data tools (Data Loader, Demand Tools).
• Additional Salesforce certifications (CPQ Developer, Data Architect, Integration Architect)

Location: Leicester (Hybrid 2-3x a week)
