Senior C# Developer (.NET) – Telecoms
Location: Cheshire East (Hybrid)

We’re working with a global technology business operating within the telecoms and connectivity space, currently looking to hire a Senior C# Developer as they continue to expand their engineering team.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step into a leadership pathway, with the chance to work closely with an experienced Team Lead and gradually take on more responsibility over time.

The Role

You’ll join a collaborative development team building and enhancing a range of internal and customer-facing systems using modern .NET technologies. The role offers a strong mix of hands-on development, system design and the opportunity to influence technical direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new features within a microservices architecture
• Build and integrate services with internal and external APIs
• Maintain and enhance existing applications
• Write clean, testable code (unit & integration testing)
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues
• Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices
• Support the team by helping prioritise and distribute work
• Work closely with the Team Lead, gaining exposure to leadership responsibilities

Tech Environment:

• C#, .NET 6+ / .NET Core
• Web APIs & microservices
• SQL / relational databases
• Entity Framework / Dapper
• Frontend exposure (Angular or similar)

What They’re Looking For:

• Strong commercial experience with C# / .NET
• Experience building modern APIs and microservices
• Solid understanding of database design and ORM tools
• Experience working in Agile environments
• A proactive mindset and interest in taking on more responsibility
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
