You'll work across the full software development lifecycle, delivering new features, improving existing functionality, and contributing to AI-enabled capabilities. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET.
  • Build and enhance user-facing applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Deliver new features, product enhancements, and software improvements across the platform.
  • Contribute to AI-enabled functionality, analytics capabilities, and intelligent automation features.
  • Support CI/CD, containerisation, monitoring, and application reliability initiatives.
  • Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and collaborative engineering practices.
  • Resolve customer-impacting issues and contribute to ongoing product maintenance.
  • Champion quality through testing, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Commercial experience developing software using C# and .NET.
  • Experience building modern web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, software architecture principles, and scalable application design.
  • Experience working within Agile development environments.
  • Strong focus on code quality, testing, and engineering best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to development.
  • Interest in AI tools and modern software engineering practices.

Desirable Experience

  • Exposure to Python development or data-processing pipelines.
  • Experience with Azure, cloud-native technologies, containers, and CI/CD tooling.
  • Experience working on AI, machine learning, analytics, or data-driven products.
  • Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and application performance optimisation.

Location: Manchester (Hybrid)
Salary: £55,000
Working Pattern: Hybrid, Full-Time
