We are seeking a .NET Developer to join a growing technology team responsible for designing, building, and supporting scalable backend systems and APIs. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using .NET and C#.
• Build and support RESTful APIs and web services using JSON data exchange.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through to deployment and support.
• Contribute to Test Driven Development (TDD) practices and maintain high standards of code quality.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA Engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support containerised deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across development and production environments.

Requirements

• Commercial experience developing backend applications using .NET and C#.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Good understanding of SQL Server and/or MySQL databases.
• Experience working with Docker and containerised applications.
• Understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Azure services, Git source control, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.

Desirable Experience

• Experience with Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation and microservices architectures.
