Technical Lead - Enterprise SaaS Implementations (Financial Services)
Build solutions. Lead delivery. Transform financial services.
£110,000 + 7% Pension + 25 Days Holiday Hybrid Working | Central London | 2-3 Days Per Week
Are you the person everyone turns to when an implementation gets complicated?
Do you enjoy leading technical deliveries, working directly with enterprise clients, and turning ambitious requirements into working solutions?
We're looking for a Technical Lead to own the technical delivery of complex SaaS implementations, helping leading financial institutions integrate, configure and successfully adopt a market-leading platform.
This is not a sales role.
It's a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of solution architecture, implementation delivery, integrations, stakeholder management and client consulting.
Why This Role?
You'll be the technical authority on major client programmes-guiding solution design, leading implementation teams, solving integration challenges and ensuring successful outcomes from discovery through to go-live and beyond.
You'll work with senior stakeholders, influence technical direction and play a key role in delivering high-profile transformation initiatives within a highly regulated environment.
If you enjoy answering questions like:
- How should this platform fit into a client's technology landscape?
- What's the best way to design this integration?
- How do we de-risk a complex deployment?
- Why did that production issue happen, and how do we prevent it happening again?
Then you'll feel right at home.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead Enterprise Implementations
- Own the technical workstream across complex SaaS implementations.
- Lead discovery workshops and solution design sessions with clients.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Drive platform configuration and integration delivery.
- Manage technical sprints, priorities and delivery risks.
Be the Trusted Technical Adviser
- Partner with client technology and business teams.
- Provide architectural guidance on integrations, APIs and platform adoption.
- Present technical updates and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Act as the escalation point for complex technical challenges.
Improve and Influence
- Shape implementation standards and best practices.
- Mentor and support technical team members.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams on future platform capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement across delivery and support processes.
What We're Looking For
You'll likely have experience as a:
- Technical Implementation Lead
- Solutions Architect
- Professional Services Lead
- Technical Delivery Manager
- Integration Lead
- Principal Technical Consultant
- Enterprise Applications Consultant
You'll bring:
- Significant experience delivering enterprise SaaS implementations.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, integrations and enterprise architectures.
- Experience leading client-facing technical workstreams from discovery through to deployment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A track record of working closely with engineering, product and business teams.
- Hands-on understanding of technologies such as APIs, JSON, HTML, Python or similar.
Industry Experience
Experience working with financial institutions is highly desirable. This could include wealth management, banking, insurance, fintech or financial advice platforms.
We would also welcome candidates from other highly regulated industries, including healthcare, telecommunications, utilities, legal technology or government services, where managing risk, compliance, security and complex stakeholder environments is a critical part of successful delivery.
What's In It For You?
£110,000 base salary
7% employer pension contribution
25 days annual leave
Hybrid working - 2-3 days per week in Central London
High-impact role with genuine ownership and autonomy
Complex enterprise transformation programmes
Opportunity to influence architecture, delivery standards and product evolution
Work directly with senior client stakeholders and leadership teams
