Data & MI Analyst (Power BI / SQL) – 6-Month Temp-to-Perm

We’re supporting a growing organisation that is currently hiring in their data and reporting function, and they’re now looking for a hands-on Data & MI Analyst to help build, streamline, and enhance their reporting capability.

This is an opportunity to join during an important transformation phase, help shape how data is delivered across the business, and potentially move into a permanent position.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building Power BI dashboards from scratch, including embedded Power BI reports used by wider teams and stakeholders.
• Creating and maintaining MI reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timely delivery.
• Writing and optimising SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various sources.
• Working closely with stakeholders from across the business 
• Supporting a broader initiative where the business has clearly identified priority reporting areas – you’ll be supported by a defined list of what’s needed, but they need someone proactive to drive it.

What They’re Looking For

• Strong skills in Power BI, including experience with embedded dashboards.
• Solid SQL experience for data extraction and manipulation.
• Background in MI and reporting – turning raw data into clear insights.
• Someone proactive, confident engaging with stakeholders, and able to deliver with limited direction.
• Open to a temp-to-perm opportunity where success could lead to a long-term position.
