Location: Netherlands | Working Pattern: Remote Day Rate: €800-900
We are looking for an experienced .NET Developer to join a high-performing consultancy environment delivering modern software solutions for large enterprise and public sector organisations. This is an opportunity to work on complex, business-critical projects while helping clients improve their software delivery capability through agile engineering practices and AI-assisted development.
You will collaborate closely with client teams to design, build and support scalable software solutions, applying modern .NET technologies, cloud platforms, and engineering best practice throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities
- Work with clients and delivery teams to define technical requirements and solution designs.
- Develop high-quality .NET applications using modern agile engineering practices.
- Use AI coding tools to support design, implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation activities.
- Review and validate AI-generated code to ensure quality, maintainability, and security.
- Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
- Support production systems and contribute to operational excellence.
- Promote agile ways of working and responsible AI-assisted development practices.
- Mentor engineers and help improve team delivery capability.
Requirements
- Extensive commercial experience developing and supporting enterprise-scale distributed systems.
- Expert knowledge of C#, .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and related technologies.
- Strong experience using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar.
- Proven expertise in test-driven development and automated testing frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit.
- Strong understanding of agile software development principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills with experience working in distributed teams.
- Collaborative approach with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing.
Desirable Experience
- Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs using .NET.
- Cloud platform expertise across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience integrating LLMs or AI services into software solutions.
- Knowledge of governance, security, and best-practice frameworks for AI-assisted development.
