Head of Data – Contract Opportunity
Location: Remote (UK-based)
Rate: Competitive daily rate (Outside IR35)
Duration: Initial 6 months
Start Date: ASAP / June preferred

A leading organisation in the housing sector is seeking a contract Head of Data to lead a significant phase of its data and analytics transformation. This is a high-impact role with senior-level visibility and influence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and deliver the data strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities

• Oversee data governance, quality, and platform development

• Drive the transition from reactive to predictive analytics capabilities

• Lead and develop both internal and external data teams

• Establish a framework for AI innovation with the right level of governance

• Rebuild trust in performance reporting and operational KPIs

Key Requirements:

• Proven leadership experience in senior data roles (Head of Data / Director level)

• Deep understanding of the housing or social housing sector (essential)

• Strong track record in large-scale data transformations

• Expertise in data strategy, governance, and advanced analytics

• Experience working in agile, cross-functional environments

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
