6-Month Initial Contract | Global FX Trading System | Consultancy Client
We’re hiring 2 experienced Contract Java Developers for an exciting opportunity with a leading consultancy, supporting the modernisation of a global low-latency FX trading platform. This is a fully remote role, operating inside IR35, with an initial duration of 6 months and negotiable daily rates (up to £525/day).
The Role:
Join a highly collaborative and skilled engineering team responsible for:

Modernising core components of a live, high-performance FX trading system

Enhancing platform resilience, performance, and architecture

Working within a low-latency, high-throughput environment
✅ What We’re Looking For:

Strong Java development experience in complex, performance-critical systems

Background in low-latency or real-time systems (e.g., trading, gaming, telco)

Previous C++ experience and/or exposure to Java from a C++ background is welcome

FX matching or trading systems experience is a big plus, but not essential
Contract Details:

Daily Rate: Up to £525/day (Inside IR35)
