Lead Java Developer – Electronic Trading | London | Up to £165k + Bonus
A leading financial institution is hiring a Lead Java Developer to join their Equities Cash Technology team in London. This is a high-impact role focused on building and enhancing low latency trading platforms that support benchmark algos, smart order routing, and internal crossing across EMEA and global markets.

What you’ll bring:
- Deep Java expertise (collections, concurrency, NIO, GC tuning)
- Experience with multithreaded systems and low latency I/O
- Strong understanding of equities/derivatives markets and algo strategies (VWAP, TWAP, Arrival Price)
- Familiarity with FIX protocol, agile methodologies, and modern dev tools
- Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute across the SDLC
