Voice & UC Engineer (Cisco | Webex | VoIP)

Hybrid - Hull / Hybrid

Salary: £45,000 per annum

I'm supporting a growing technology organisation looking to strengthen its Collaboration & Unified Comms capability by appointing a Voice & UC Engineer (Cisco | Webex | VoIP). This role is perfect for someone with solid knowledge across Cisco UC/CUCM/Webex technologies who is ready to take the next big step in their career.

About the Role

You'll work closely with senior engineers to deliver Cisco UC and Webex projects across a variety of customer environments. This includes hands-on exposure to discovery, design, configuration, cutovers and customer adoption, with full support, training and mentorship from experienced colleagues.

You don't need years of consultancy experience; you just need the right foundation and attitude. The business will invest heavily in your growth, including certifications, structured development frameworks, and shadowing senior architects.

What You'll Get Involved In

• Supporting UC migrations, upgrades, dial plans, SIP/CUBE, Unity and UCCX/IVR work.
• Assisting with Webex Calling deployments and device/rooms configuration.
• Learning to produce HLD/LLD documentation, test plans and cutover runbooks.
• Working alongside senior engineers during cutovers and project delivery.
• Supporting presales activities such as estimates and BoMs.
• Taking part in customer workshops, discovery sessions and adoption planning.

What We're Looking For

• Knowledge of Cisco UC, CUCM, Webex Calling or similar collaboration products.
• Understanding of core voice technologies (dial plans, SIP/CUBE, basic UCCX exposure).
• Genuine passion for Unified Comms and eagerness to learn quickly.
• Strong communicator, comfortable speaking with customers and internal teams.
• Good documentation and organisation skills (HLD/LLD exposure beneficial, not essential).
• You don't need to tick every box, attitude, curiosity and willingness to grow are equally important.
