Senior Python Engineer – AWS – Inside IR35 – £450/day – 6 Months
Hybrid | Travel to Leeds once a fortnight
Possible extension | Confidential national‑infrastructure project
Our client is working on a critical UK healthcare integration platform, part of the UK's Critical National Infrastructure (CNI). The system enables secure, high‑availability data exchange across national healthcare services, and they need a Senior Python Engineer to support ongoing development, security and platform stability.
You’ll be developing secure, high‑quality Python code, working across AWS cloud‑native systems, strengthening CI/CD pipelines, improving observability, and ensuring the platform meets strict security and governance standards. Experience supporting incidents, advising product teams, and “shifting security left” will be valuable assets.
Core Requirements:
Strong Python engineering background • Cloud experience (AWS preferred) • Terraform or other IaC • GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD pipelines • Observability tooling • Secure SDLC understanding • Willing to join on‑call rota (1 in 6)
