Leicester/Nottingham (Hybrid 3 days onsite) | Energy Sector | Snowflake / Azure / DBT

We’re hiring a Data Engineer to design, scale, and optimise modern data platforms—turning raw data into trusted, high-impact insights across a growing UK energy company.

What you’ll do

• Build and optimise scalable data pipelines & architectures

• Work with Snowflake, Azure, DBT to transform and model data

• Integrate multiple data sources via APIs, Spark, Kafka

• Drive data quality, governance, and security (RLS, masking, access control)

• Tune performance and manage cost-efficient data workloads

• Partner with teams across finance, ops, tech, and commercial

You’ll bring

• Experience in data engineering / data platform development

• Strong skills in Python, SQL, Spark (or similar)

• Solid understanding of ETL, data modelling, Lakehouse concepts

• Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and security best practices

• Ability to work across technical + non-technical stakeholders
