IMMEDIATE CONTRACT | PROGRAMME MANAGER | 3 MONTHS (POSSIBLE EXTENSION TO 9) | £34.60 PER HOUR | NHS CONTRACT | HERTFORDSHIRE / HYBRID

An NHS organisation in Hertfordshire is looking for an experienced Project / Programme Manager to support delivery of a trust-wide clinical pathways programme. This is a hands-on role, working closely with senior clinical and operational stakeholders to deliver change at pace.

Hybrid working is available, with 1–2 days per week on site at a Hertfordshire location near Hatfield.

Key responsibilities:
¬ Lead delivery of a programme implementing five clinical pathways, coordinating multiple workstreams
¬ Manage and engage senior stakeholders, including clinical and operational leads and experts by experience
¬ Chair programme and workstream meetings, ensuring clear actions and decisions
¬ Identify risks and issues and resolve them pragmatically to keep delivery on track
¬ Support effective change management so new pathways are embedded and sustainable

Required experience and skills:
¬ Proven programme or project management experience within the NHS or a similar organisation
¬ Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust quickly
¬ Highly organised and able to deliver at pace
¬ Experience of mental health services; clinical pathways experience is desirable
¬ Practical, adaptable and solutions-focused

Contract details:
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3 months initially (extension up to 9 months subject to approval)
Hours: 37 per week (part-time considered)
Rate: £34.60 per hour
Location: Hertfordshire – hybrid working
