Job role

Senior Product Manager

Location: Hull (hybrid)

Salary: £70,000pa + Benefits

I am looking for a senior product leader to take ownership of a large-scale Enterprise and Wholesale product portfolio within a complex, regulated, technology-led environment. This is not a delivery-only or incremental optimisation role, it’s about shaping product strategy, defining propositions, and ensuring products perform commercially once they are live.

This role sits at the heart of Product, Commercial, and Sales, with accountability for roadmap, pricing, and in-market performance. It offers genuine influence over product direction and regular exposure at senior and executive level.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle across a broad Enterprise and Wholesale portfolio
  • Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap in line with business strategy
  • Translate customer, market, and commercial needs into clear product propositions
  • Work closely with Commercial teams on pricing, margin, and regulatory compliance
  • Ensure products launch effectively and deliver strong customer journeys
  • Drive revenue, ARPU, margin, and volume performance across the portfolio
  • Partner with Sales, Pre-Sales, Customer Service, and Delivery teams to optimise outcomes
  • Manage complex internal and external stakeholders, including partners and suppliers
  • Provide insight, challenge, and recommendations to senior leadership and C-level stakeholders
  • Ensure ongoing compliance across products, pricing, and services

Experience / What you bring

  • Senior experience in product and commercial ownership within telecommunications or a comparable technical industry
  • Proven track record owning product portfolios with clear P&L accountability
  • Experience working in regulated environments
  • Strong commercial judgement across pricing, revenue, margin, and cost base
  • Comfortable operating at senior level, influencing direction rather than simply executing
  • Pragmatic, outcome-focused product leadership rather than overly theoretical approaches
