Xpertise have partnered with a growing business in the East Midlands who are looking to bring on a Lead Project Manager.
The Lead Project Manager is responsible for delivering medium- to high‑complexity projects for a major transport organisation, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, budget and regulatory requirements, while following established project governance processes. The role oversees project planning, risk and issue management, business case development, financial reporting, and benefits realisation, as well as leading and developing a team of 5-6 project and assistant project managers. It involves collaboration with internal stakeholders, external partners, statutory bodies and senior executives, while maintaining high standards of documentation, reporting and compliance. The Lead Project Manager also supports continuous improvement, drives effective business change, contributes to contractual performance evidence, and may deputise for the Programme Manager when required.
