Technical Project Manager

Heathrow (3 days per week)

We're supporting a FTSE 100 organisation undergoing a major operational and technology transformation and looking to hire a number of Technical Project Managers over the coming months into their team.

This is a hands-on delivery role focused on driving complex technology projects from initiation through to implementation. You'll work across product, operations, technology, consulting partners and vendors to ensure successful delivery of business-critical initiatives.

The environment is fast-paced, complex and highly stakeholder-driven, so we're looking for someone who can build relationships quickly, challenge constructively and keep delivery moving forward.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for leading delivery across a product stream, working with business stakeholders, technical teams, analysts and third-party suppliers.

This isn't a role focused purely on governance and reporting. Equally, it isn't a deeply technical engineering role. The sweet spot is someone who understands technology, can engage senior stakeholders and has a proven track record delivering complex programmes in large organisations.

The role is roughly 70% business-facing and 30% technical.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technology and transformation initiatives
• Manage project plans, risks, dependencies and governance
• Coordinate business, technology and vendor teams
• Drive delivery across matrix organisations
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders
• Hold suppliers and consulting partners accountable for delivery
• Facilitate workshops and programme meetings
• Ensure solutions are delivered against agreed business outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Proven Technical Project Management experience
• Consulting or professional services background
• Strong technical delivery experience
• Experience working in large, complex and matrix organisations
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Strong vendor and supplier management experience
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Nice to Have

• Aviation experience, although not essential
• Experience within transport, retail, technology, banking or insurance
• Exposure to large-scale transformation programmes
• Agile delivery experience
