Xpertise Recruitment have welcomed a three new team members, Olivia, Robyn and Hannah, who will be joining across all three of our offices. We wanted to find out a little bit more about the new team members and find out why they joined Xpertise Recruitment.

Meet Olivia…

Name and background:

Olivia, I grew up in Tamworth, Staffordshire with my 5 younger siblings. I am joining the Manchester team as part of the Product Delivery team. I love to cook, travel and find new cocktail hotspots and restaurants.

Why did you choose Xpertise and why recruitment?

I chose Xpertise because of the company culture, as well as the opportunity to move to Manchester. Recruitment as a sector really appealed to me because I’m a huge extrovert and I love to get to know people, understand what makes them tick and being in recruitment allows me to utilise these traits to help place people in the best possible positions.

Busy, Fun, Productive

If you could only eat one starter, main and dessert for the rest of your life what would it be?

Starter = Crispy Aromatic Duck Pancakes, Main= Fajitas and all the trimmings, Dessert = Ice-cream.

3 people dead or alive, who would you choose to come to your dinner party and why?

- David Attenborough – national treasure and will definitely have some incredible travel tips and story’s.

- Freddie Mercury – dinner table karaoke would never be the same again, plus I would love to see what Freddie and David would talk about.

- Morgan Freeman – Would love the opportunity to have him narrate an evening.

Meet Robyn…

Name and background:

Hi, I’m Robyn and I’m a village girl from Milton Keynes way. I am joining the Project Delivery team at Xpertise. In my spare time I love a good sing song as I’m sure you can tell from my funny story and drinking a cocktail or 2…a Pina Colada is my favourite.

Why did you choose Xpertise and why recruitment?

I chose Xpertise because of the great culture that the company has which I could sense from my very first meeting. Being a bubbly individual who loves to be faced with a challenge, recruitment seems ideal for me.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, money being no object, where would you go and why?

I would go to the Philippines because I think it is a beautiful place and I am 100% sure the food would be unreal (I love food…).

Tell us an interesting or funny story about yourself?

I asked the live band at an après in Val d'Isère to sing with them and sang Valerie in front of 600 people (I hadn’t even drunk!).

Meet Hannah…

Name and background:

My name is Hannah Johnson and I have just graduated with a first-class honours in Psychology at the University of Lincoln but I am originally from Leicester. I am joining Joe’s Project Delivery and Infrastructure team and will be specialising in Solution Architecture recruitment. In my spare time I like socialising with friends and going out for food.

Why did you choose Xpertise and why recruitment?

I chose Xpertise because I felt it was best suited to my values and that it was a good culture fit. Recruitment seemed like the right job for me given my inquisitive nature and ability to establish rapport with people.

- Margot Robbie – she’s my celebrity crush
- Kim Kardashian – she’s inspirational to me
- Elon Musk – because he’s a billionaire and fascinates me!

Tell us an interesting or funny story about yourself?

Every night at my old job we had to defrost the freezers and one time I pulled the freezer out so hard to unplug it that I fell backwards straight onto my bum!
