Head of Product // Hybrid, 3 days per week (Durham) // £70,000 - £90,000 // B2B SaaS

Xpertise Recruitment have partnered with a SaaS business looking simplify and automate the way billing in their industry is managed. The platform is scaling fast, the customer base is growing, and product is central to where they're going.

In this role you will own the design and delivery of the product function. This will be a heavily customer centric role, whilst driving strategy, shaping the roadmap with senior leadership, and getting into detail with design and engineering to make sure you focus on solving the right problems

What you'll be doing:

• Leading the product function, including design and delivery across the business
• Manage a team of POs and PMs (5-6)
• Aligning with engineering leads, senior business stakeholders and delivery managers to keep work moving
• Driving the definition of epics, features and use cases in a way that makes sense to both business and tech
• Making sure the product roadmap is grounded in business and user value

What they're looking for:

• Significant Product experience in a SaaS or tech-led business
• Line management experience, ideally overseeing a function
• Someone who's confident managing complex requirements and delivery cycles, without losing sight of the end user
• Strong communication skills are essential, able to align senior stakeholders, but also collaborate with engineers
• A clear thinker who understands how to balance short-term delivery with long-term strategy
