NetSuite Functional Consultant

Permanent | Hybrid | Manchester 

This is an excellent opportunity for a NetSuite professional who has built a solid foundation and is now looking for the next phase of their career, more ownership, deeper exposure, and structured development in a genuinely high-performing internal technology environment.

We're looking for someone with around 3-4+ years' experience who combines technical capability with the right attitude: curiosity, enthusiasm, and a genuine willingness to learn. You'll be joining an established internal systems team where collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement genuinely matter.

The role

You'll play a key role in the ongoing ownership, optimisation, and evolution of a NetSuite platform that underpins critical finance and operational processes. Working closely with product owners, system integrators, and senior stakeholders, you'll help translate business needs into robust, scalable solutions - while continuing to grow your own capability along the way.

This is not a ticket-based support role. It's about getting embedded, understanding how the business works, and contributing meaningfully to platform decisions and outcomes.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting the design, configuration, and ongoing optimisation of Oracle NetSuite and SuiteBilling
• Gathering and translating business requirements into effective functional solutions
• Working across environments, releases, testing, and UAT to ensure quality delivery
• Supporting SaaS updates, release planning, and change impact analysis
• Acting as a trusted bridge between finance, operations, technology teams, and vendors
• Supporting data integrity, reporting, integrations, and system enhancements
• Contributing to user adoption through training, documentation, and change support

What we're looking for

• 3-4+ years' experience working with Oracle NetSuite in a functional or consultant capacity
• An understanding of finance and operational processes
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with non-technical stakeholders
• A proactive mindset - you take ownership and ask the right questions
• Enthusiasm to learn, upskill, and develop deeper expertise over time
• Experience across areas such as configuration, testing, change, or support (end-to-end exposure is ideal, but not essential)
