Location: Hybrid, with occasional travel to key UK sites
Day Rate: £450 pr day (Inside IR35)
Overview
This role sits within a data-focused delivery environment, supporting Data Product Managers and multidisciplinary technical teams. You will drive requirements gathering, backlog definition, and documentation to enable accurate and effective delivery of data solutions across marketing and broader business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of business requirements: elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and prototyping sessions.
- Analyse systems and data structures to support requirements definition.
- Produce development-ready user stories and functional specifications.
- Define and prioritise product backlogs in collaboration with Product Managers.
- Manage scope changes and maintain alignment across technical and business teams.
- Ensure high?quality documentation aligned with delivery standards.
- Work closely with Data Modellers, Data Architects, Engineers, and Quality Analysts within an Agile framework.
Essential Experience
- Strong background in data disciplines: data management, migration, quality, architecture, or governance.
- Understanding of data ingestion processes and database schemas.
- Familiarity with conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling.
- Knowledge of BI concepts including reporting, relational databases, and cloud environments.
- Skilled in use cases, process maps, data flows, and diagramming.
- Experience running requirements workshops and working with varied stakeholders.

- Exposure to marketing technology platforms such as Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Oracle Eloqua.
