Location: Birmingham (Hybrid working)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + benefits
An established professional services organisation is looking to add a Business Analyst to its internal change and transformation team. This Business Analyst role will focus on supporting business wide initiatives aimed at improving systems, processes, and operational efficiency.
Working across a range of projects as a Business Analyst, you will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, translate requirements, and help deliver practical solutions that enhance the way teams operate.
The Opportunity
This role offers exposure to a variety of business change and technology led initiatives, where you will play a key part in identifying opportunities for improvement and helping implement effective solutions. Projects may include system enhancements, process optimisation, and broader organisational transformation programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Engaging with stakeholders to capture and analyse business requirements
- Reviewing existing workflows and identifying opportunities for process improvement
- Producing clear documentation including process maps, requirements, and functional specifications
- Supporting the delivery of technology and operational change projects
- Facilitating workshops and discussions to help define solutions
- Working closely with both business and technical teams to ensure successful implementation
- Managing priorities across multiple initiatives
About You
This role would suit someone with a strong analytical mindset and experience working on business change or systems related projects within a professional environment.
You may bring experience in areas such as:
- Business analysis within process improvement or transformation projects
- Process mapping and workflow analysis using tools such as Visio or similar
- Applying structured analysis techniques (e.g. root cause analysis, process modelling, workshop facilitation)
- Working across multiple stakeholders and project teams
- Delivering solutions that improve efficiency and support operational change
- Certified in Business Analysis (BCS/IIBA or equivalent)
Exposure to CRM platforms, collaboration tools, or reporting platforms would be advantageous but is not essential.
